Tiffany - With a ribbon, without the blue box!

I just had to share these fabulous Kelsi Dagger Tiffany shoes with you - Ooooooh they are D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S (and on sale!)   They may not have arrived in a blue box, but they got the bow!  They look super stylish and the platform makes the heel quite walkable.  Even though my delightful boss, RS, said - "Platforms - not a guy thing" - I do think they are sexy, stylish and you get a two -in-one.  Take the bow off (yes, its removable) and you get a classic platform pump.

Available in a number of colors - black, light pink, gray, red - take your pick!  From $39.98  - a great pair at a great price to jazz up your Autumn/Fall wardrobe.

Totally going to wear them to work!

Adore!  Nice going Kelsi Dagger!  The best alternative to the Christian Louboutin Lady Daf (now unavailable, except on ebay for RIDICULOUS prices!)

Dream Big, Pay Less

It's still summer time, and as much as I love the sun, the ocean, blue skies and the warm days, there is no denying that Autumn/Fall is around the corner.  So, being a fashionista, I must prepare fast and furiously.  There's much to love about the Autumn/Fall 2011 season, most of all bright colors - LOVE!  However, not everything that is on my "FAV" list is actually affordable (for moi, at least).  So, I went on my Dream Big, Pay Less mission this week, and here's some of my favorite finds.  I am now a happy girl, ready for the upcoming season, with just a few pieces and lots of color!  Mixed with the items I already own (and there's plenty of those), I think I am fashionably falling for Fall!

1.  The Coat -  First Lady Michelle Obama definitely took J Crew to the runway.  A label not generally known outside of the U.S., is now a part of NY fashion week.   The style was perfect, the price not so much.  Dream big at $350, pay less at $172 - the ASOS alternative.  I believe we have a winner!  Take it from day to night with the Tilly&Pinch Astrid in Jade ($105).

2.   See by Chloe Carmen ($495) vs YSL Muse Too ($1250) - both are definitely splurge pieces.  My eyes are definitely on the YSL but with a price tag of $1250 there's a lot more eye-ing to be done.  Carmen may just get the better of me!

3.  The knit/sweater jacket is going to be huge this Autumn/Fall.  Off the runway, the See by Chloe is gorgeous but at $495 vs $69 for the Tinley Road knit cardigan (which is equally fab) - I just put $426 towards the Carmen!

Look through your closet before you buy!  If yours is anything like mine, there are plenty pieces you will find that will fit right in to what's hip and in this next season!  Next week - some Deliciousshoes to go with the Autumn/Fall upgrade!

Keep smiling, enjoy the sunshine and stay safe and fabulous.

Until the next time,

Lil' Shoelina

Milan's Runway to Target

I love the vibrance of colors and zigzags that is the signature of Margherita Missoni.  Michael at M Missoni in New York's SOHO neighborhood will definitely attest to that!

So when I first learnt about the Missoni for Target collection, I was over the moon.  A wopping 400 piece collection by Margherita Missoni, created exclusively for Target is approaching the "high street" runway.   Prices will range from USD $ 2.99 to $599 with most items being priced around $40.  The collection is targeted to include women's, men's and children's clothing, accessories, homewares, linens and luggage.

OMG, I can barely contain my excitement.  My calendar reminder is set!  There is no doubt that this debut Missoni for Target collection will sell out fast.

From an iconic Italian fashion family, Margherita Missoni is the grand daughter of Rosita and Ottavio Missoni who founded Missoni in 1953 and the daughter of Angela Missoni.

Keep tuned for more information.  In the meantime SAVE THE DATE - September 13, 2011.  You don't want to be on the wait list; you want to be the A-list!

It's that time to spruce up your closet with the Milan Runway in a smart, economic and colorful manner.
