BOOTILICIOUS BOOTS

It’s been a while since the last post! For the past few weeks, I have been enjoying being a “Londoner” again – Hyde Park, afternoon tea at Claridges (a must for the first timer), strolls down Fitzjohn’s Avenue to St. John’s Wood, and of course a visit to Nandos.

As you might have guessed, the itinerary for my European adventure was largely dictated by the events of London Fashion Week! Over the next few weeks, I will share with you some of my favorite London finds.

Lets start with Boots, Boots, Boots!

This season is all about pushing the envelope and taking risks. One of the many things I love about London is that Londoners are fearless when it comes to fashion; they don’t just follow the fads. Consequently, the streets of London are abundant with “sui generis” style.

From Camden Town to Chelsea, Top Shop to Harrods, this season’s boots are wagging tongues.

Here are my top bootilicious boots from one of the fashion capitals across the pond:

It often rains in London, so a perfect pair of “wellies” is a must.

(Zebra wellies by New Look and this season's must have Burberry Wellies)

Buckles & Studs….

(Studded Booties from Top Shop)

Get spotted in knee highs

(Karly lace over by Schuh & Knee high by Top Shop)

Ankle biters, not ankle swingers

(Moschino Cheap& Chic, ASOS acorn & Sorena by Faith)

Jazz it up with dazzling toe peepers

(ASOS twist and Steve Madden Merriee)

Create your own “sui generis” this season by taking that little bit of risk. It’s amazing how delicious a great pair of bootilicous boots can make you feel.

Stay fabulous!
