Vicktoree vs. Lady Daf

What an uncanny resemblance the "Vicktoree" by Steve Madden has to the infamous Christian Louboutin Lady Daf Mary Jane pump?  The price tags - $129 vs. $995.   I think I will skip the red sole.  Besides, as Shakespeare so quaintly put it: "What's in a name?  That which we call a rose by any other would smell as sweet...."

Leopard Style

Growing up in Africa, my heart is always drawn to beautiful animals, the leopard being one of my favorite of the "big cats" - its rare, elusive, with a fur marked with rosettes.  The beauty of the wild - absolutely gorgeous!

Needless to say, when I started looking for an out-of-the-box, "va-va-voom" accessory to update one of my DeliciousShoes fashionista's London style, I was literally drawn to these Steve Madden Carnaby-L Leopard booties - gorgeous!   As I normally do, I sent Ms P a picture, and her response: "Seriously?????? I am not convinced!!!!!"  I knew then I would have to seriously convince her!  So, off to London with a pair of Size 7 Carnaby-L's in Leopard.  The plan:  to style a series of looks, each with the Carnaby-L, that would work perfect for Ms P's London lifestyle - from work to play.

Autumn Booties
